Default MILs...

Hey Guys,

I have everything I need to do my full exhuast install, but Im still waiting for the MILs... I have a funny feeling lmperformance.com might have screwed up my order. It was not on their website, but they told me they could get me the BBK MILs and I got the headers, but still no MILs. Ugh.

Anyway, I was thinking... Is it better to put the MILs on AFTER the check engine light comes on? Or just do it right when you install the o/r X-pipe? And is this something I could just hook on myself?

Thanks.

You can hook them on yourself, just make sure they won't touch the mid-pipe. Put them on right away, why would you want to wait until the check engine light comes on?

+1 to that. Keep them as secure as you can. They usually come with a turkey tie, but you might want to use a couple more to be safe.. If it touches that pipe at over 1000 degrees, it will be toast...
