hey all~
Well you've probably all heard about my clutch and tranny plans, which are all well and good. I thought I could just do those, but today I was greeted with another f'ing problem.


was cruisin home, and I feel a big thud under my feet like under the car, look back to see if I hit or lost something... see nothing.


so I cruise a bit more, and now i hear this weird creaking/clicking sound when I'm driving. it's not a strut or ball joint, has nothing to do with turning the steering wheel. it's when I'm driving in a straight line cruising. i don't know what the F it is, but today at work i'm gonna put it on the lift and see what broke this time!!! anyone have any ideas!?


I'm almost to the point where the next thing I buy for this car is a stick of dynamite

something in the suspension maybe??? I dont know...its hard to tell exactly what a sound is over the internet. Get it up on the lift and check it out

yeah I'm just pissed. I mean when i bought the car, I inspected it with a fine toothed comb. even had some master techs look it over. Found nothing wrong. Now that it knows I own it, all the crap fails.


it's just never ending with me. I swear the next car I buy will still be a mustang, but it is gonna have a warranty!

it's a ten year old car. it's not brand new, probably had the **** beat out of it at some point in time. how many miles on it?

110000. I even had a compression test done on it, and had everything inspected when I bought it. It needed nothing. I bought it with 103000, and I put 7k on it.


It's just depressing

didn't you expect to be replacing parts when you bought a used car with 100,000 miles on it??

yeah but when I checked it out nothing was bad. We have owned many 100k + mile cars and never had this much trouble.


I just think the car Gods hate me for some reason.

Oh well, the fact my car needs work is not on debate.


Trying to get some ideas as to WTF that creaking/clicking could be, maybe I blew a shock or could it be something in the tranny?

Sounds like U joints. Take a look underneath and you will get a better diagnois.
