I have had a t-45 and now i have a tremec. I was wondering if the tremec is loud for everyone?? I can have the clutch in and downshift and can hear the transmission over my exhaust. And my exhaust is pretty loud.

A Tremec what? Tremec is just a brand, they make the T-45, T-56, TR3650, TKO, etc... They make quite a few. http://www.ttcautomotive.com

There is very likely a problem with it.

i have the 3650 and when i downshift it will whine a little. and it sounds like you can hear every gear in the tranny like there was no casing protecting the tranny. I have a friend with an 02 GT and he says that he has the same prob. I have heard a LOT of complaints about the 3650. Is ford ever gonna make a recall??

maybe i am just being paranoid or something, my mustang does not have any preformance problems at all, and shifting is a breeze, but i just am not use to the noise, because my old mustang did not have this noise. (97 GT with t45)
