Na, i didnt put the heat shield on. I like the look without it haha. At some point i will put it on though

mines in the mail as we speak, I can't wait to get it!!!! Anyone kno the pro's/cons of having the heat shield on or off? in another pst code said "I ran without the shield because I liked the look, but put it back on when dynoing. It smoothed out my A/F, so I now keep it on." so maybe im better off keeping it on, even though it looks cooler off?

there is no point besides looks. maybe they call it ram air because you can take off your headlight and make it ram air. iono

That chrome will actually hold in heat. Also driving around without the heat shield...you'll just be sucking in incredibly hot engine air.
