How much more $$ does it cost to replace a 98 Cobra's parts vs a 98 GTs?

Depends on the part.

If its something specific to DOHC engine or the IRS, then I'd imagine more. Otherwise the same.

I'm talking about parts that just wear out naturally. Brake pads, alternator, etc.

There is no IRS on the 98 cobra.. same rear end as the GT.


Most the parts on the cobra are the same as the parts on the GT. Only when you actualy start tearing into the motor does it become more expensive. Anything in the heads or if you replace the cams it will be much more (4 vs 2 obviously), but basic parts its not much difference.
