Also can any one recommend a system that has a unique sound only a 4.6 Mustang can make?
this should take flows, SLP, MAC, and Magnaflow out of your list..
im not bashing anything,, but these that i've listed are VERY VERY common now,, and it seems to me like he wants something unique

Bassanni, and Borla are two EXCELLENT sounding exhausts, ive never heard Bassanni in person, but everyone who has seems very very pleased

and borla is amazing

Thanks guys. All of the answers. I'll keep the LM2's at the top of my list still. I'll look into Borla and Bassani also. Around my area everyone has Flowmasters like its the only company out. Also can anyone tell me how much louder LM1's are over LM2's?

yeah i'd go magnaflow if you want it to sound nice when your on the throttle a little and a lot. Otherwise i would suggest Borla this buddy of mine has it on his GT and it sounds great and another buddy of mine has borla on his Mach 1 and it sounds great, but Borla is going to be a little pricey compared to the rest.

LoL, PLENTY of people have Borla... and quite a few have Bassani. I would say Bassani is probably the rarest, but probably because most people don't like it.

Every catback is going to keep the "unique" mustang sound. Just go for what YOU think sounds best. It all depends on the tone and loudness you want from your car.

Bravo, man. I had Flows on my truck (now Corsa) and there was a bit of interior resonance, but it wasn't that bad. I'm not sure if they make Corsas for Mustangs, but those have zero noise cruising on the highway. Almost too quiet.....

spend the money and get something good, and get only stainless steel. if not, it will rust out in 2 years. a good stainless system will last a very long time.
