Default Best STREET tire

Which street tire have you guys had the best luck with (reasonably priced). Right now I have the BFGoodrich G-force 245/40/17 which came with the car. After quite a few doughnuts the tires are about shot. I decided to go with a little wider tire (255), but cant decide what brand to go with. The G-force was a really good tire. It lasted a really long time and had pretty good traction for a street tire. Any other opinions???

P.S. NO I DON'T WANT DRAG RADIALS!!!!!!

So you're saying to pay more than twice the price of the Ecsta ASX/SPT for what? Just cuz you made a ****ty purchase, doesn't mean you have to recommend it.
