Wazzup ya'll, i'm having a problem w/ my car staying cranked. Yesterday i was going to install my speedcal (car is an auto) to correct my speedometer, so the first step was unplugging the neg. battery cable. Did that then saw that intalling the speedcal was gonna be a bigger pain in the *** than i thought, so decided not to. Connected the battery cable back ( only unplugged for about 10 min.) and the car would crank, but turn right back off. It kept doing that about 10-15 times, but if i held the gas down around 2-3k rpms, it would stay idled, but if i let off it would cut off. Looked in the book, and said that if the battery is disconnected, it has to relearn it's idle. Finally after 20-30 min. of that it finally would idle w/out me pressing the gas...but now every time i put it in gear it cuts off. It's pissing me off to no end. So i limped the car home, cutting off at every stoplight (after it gets down to 1k rpms it cuts off).

This morning went out and cranked it, did fine, put it in gear it did fine, drove about 10 min., and no problems, but i pulled back in the driveway, put it in park, then back in reverse and it cut back off. Cranked it back up, put it in drive did the same thing..cut off. What could my problem be here. It's making me so mad, that just because i unplugged the damn battery, my car can't do ****.....any suggestions. I just went out and unplugged my battery again, and if it has to go thru all that relearn idle crap again, i'm probably gonna burst a brain vessle or something[:@]
