I need help changing the spark plugs in my 99 GT, i need to know ho because i have never did it before. Is there a special tool needed? Where exactly are the plugs located?

They are under the coils which are directly under the fuel rails. There are 2 (If I remember correctly 8mm) bolts on each coil. Just wiggle them from under the fuel rail. The spark plugs will be 5/8. Remove the plugs, gap the new ones and reassemble opposite from removal.

With aluminum heads you should use a dab of anti-seize on the plug threads to keep them from galling.

Yea anti seize those suckers up and remember cylinder eight (farthest one back on the intake side) is a bitch but it will come out. You'll need a special spark plug socket (5/8") and you'll appreciate an extension (i used a 9 inch). If you get iridium plugs no need to gap unless you have forced induction or something like that.
