Hey guys, as you know I installed my BBK 75 MM Throttle body and my C&L plenum and had a little difficulty doing it but now that it is done. I love it ! But, one concern is that is it suppose to whine or whistle a little bit under acceleration around 2K rpms When i really lay into her i dont hear it but normal acceleration is when i hear a whistle or whine! Sounds like a little Turbo or NOS or charger lol Hope I installed everything correct everything seems to be working properly. No gas leaks or anything. I had to custom fabricate a vaccum hose because mine wasent big enough. But other than that. Is this a problem with the Whistle or whine?

i have an accufab and when im on the highway in 5th gear it will whistle/whine when my throttle is pushed down a certain degree. I think this is just air passing by the flap on the thorttlebody.

my car whines like its supercharged when under hard acceleration and im stock besides my K&N. why is that? its really loud too.

I have a custom ported plenum w 75mm tb and it whines and whistles like god intended.

I had accufab 70mm and P&P Plenum and it whistled LOUD. It did it at idle too. Sounded really badass.

if you guys think those whine like a turbo/supercharged car you have never been in one [8D]

YOu can hear the air being sucked into the motor with a K&N or any CAI. ANd it will sound louder going through a larger TB.. the way most TB's open, just imagine blowing on the rim of a bottle of pop.. thats kind of the same effect.

well if everyones whine then that is probably what it is supposed to do. you are probably actually hearing the cai whistleing. because i do not see how you would actually hear a closed piece whining. So you are probably hearing the cai. remember when you first installed your cai and you flexed your engine so you can hear your cai well now you have WAY more air going in so you will hear way more whining. Common physics people

Mine whistles too. I've gotten used to it but at first it was really annoying. Some people are even impressed by it.
