Default Nitto Drag Radials???

Hey guys, I just got my 03 cobra rims and nitto drag radials the other day. I'll have my pictures posted soon. But anyways, what is the best technique for launching with my new drags?? How long should I do a burnout and such?? What should I launch at?? My mods are in my sig, thanks guys.

nittos are soft you wont need to warm them up much maybe 3-5 sec tops id launch at 4k rpms and shift at 5.5k rpms.....if you have standard if not id launch at what rpm i could without the car jumping....

If u are on a sticky track, you might bog doing that. I used to dump my clutch @4500 and cut 1.8's on street tires. If u have a really crappy track, you may need to slip out the clutch, but hope not. Thats the biggest thrill for me about drag racing. I didnt have a very fast car, so I got my thrills by outlaunching people.

Might now be a bad idea to get some moser 31 spline axles when you put the gears in

I plan on beefing up the rear end eventually, but with 4:10s and nitto's will my rear end be OK???

axles are about 250 but then you need a differnt differentail to except the 31 spline instead of 28, they are around 200 bucks, soo 400-500 for the set up, then gears, bearings, and install might be as much as 600 bucks
