Amsiol oils
I am currently using valvoline synpower in my 2002 gt right now, but everyone is talking about amsoil synthetic oils. Should i switch? If so where can i purchase the oil and can i still use a motorcraft oil filter?

RE: Amsiol oils
You can switch if you want to. Personally that is what I use. If you switch, get their filters too. Get 0W30.

RE: Amsiol oils
Amsoil is by far the best oil out there...tests prove it, regardless of what mobil 1 users say...but dont even bother mail ordering it...there are plenty of local dealers where u live...just look in the phone book...also, dont us 0W30, use whatever you car calls for...

I asked that question about the 0W30 and that is what everyone said to use. I tried around here to find it and NO autoparts stores carried it. They all said they wish they did! Wonder why that is???
If he has the '02 Gt, They call for 5W20. OW better for the colder weather like here in the northeast.
