Hello to all,
well this is my best time slip to date...

Mods are...
Gears
LC Arms
Drag Radials
Throttle Body
Plenum
CAI
UD Pulleys

STILL HAVE BONE STOCK EXHAUST.

60' times are 1.8 (high 1.8's and a lot of the time I will have the 1.901 or so)
and yes I do HOOK NICE lol.
My car hooks so nice, just like a slick.
MAX I have launched at is ALMOST 2k... about 1800+k
I have an AUTO incase your wondering why the launch is so low.

Now I know GT's are not all that "powerfull"
so I do not expect trap speeds like an Ls1.
However with a 13.4 SHOULDNT I BE IN THE 100mph range?!

Is my timing to much advance?
is it b/c I do not have midpipe/catback yet?

What is the reason for this LOW MPH?
seems like in that last 320 FEET is where I really drag?......

I now have on my converter(3k stall) so I should shave some time off, but I highly doubt it will *** any MPH.

and its not like my "DRIVING" is bad. its very good as matter of fact, (I know driving is not as important on AUTO as it as MANUAL... but still I can launch very well etc...good driver)

So please help me out here.

off the line im DEADLY...
like my buddy in his ls1 (pretty much stock auto)
I just kill him off line and 330 foot etc...
but top end, forget it.

thats how all my races are, i just shoot out from the hole-

I mean look at that 1000' Time.
and even my 1/8 mile time.

then LOOK at my ET and my trap speed... []

i think since you've done all those mods i wouldn't know why you haven't done a full exhaust set up yet. The first thing i did to my car when i got it was put an exhaust on.

Your car looks like it literally jumps out of the hole. You really arent getting the full benefit of the CAI, TB/Plenum combo because they are practically blowing into a straw. I think exhaust will REALLY wake your car up now. The fact that your car is only gaining about 18mph in the last 1/8th is a sign of lack of HP.

b/c do you have any idea how cool it is to see a GT run a 13.4 that has STOCK exhaust?
sounds/is bone stock.

So people do not see me coming.
when I pull back around to the staging lanes, people ALWAYS ask what is done etc...
and they always say WOW.

I mean I know you have a COBRA, so youd kill me lol.

but guys at the track that do what you do (guys with GTs)
that put EXHAUST first thing... I kill them all the time... obvious reasons.
and from hearing the cars etc... youd think they would KILL ME (b/c their car sounds soo mean etc)
that is a mistake many of them make- first thing they do is EXHAUST!... boooo!

I TOOK WHAT POWER I HAD STOCK and worked on getting it to the wheels,
once i got it to the wheels... I slowly add'd more power.



OH PS: I have had a 102 Trap SPEED BEFORE!!!! when I ran a 13.6!!!!!!!!!!
Forgot to tell you that.
my 60' was slower, 1/8 everything... obviously slower ET- HOWEVER my TRAP WAS HIGHER.

So that is what Im wondering did I advance my timing to much?
or is it my bigger tires or what?

Yeah I am putting on my O/R H pipe today/in a few minutes....

and then will test it out. (run some times)

then I have my LM2's coming as well (should be here tmrw) and will run some times once I get it on.


Reason I havn't done LT Headers... is b/c WOW what MONSTER to get to them!!!
the install has been turning me off from them.
B/c I like to do things together... like LT,MIDPIPE,CATBACK
like I did with my CAI,TB,PLEN.
So I am holding off on them for a while...
but soon I will get LT's and install them.

Very nice numbers. With the stall and exhaust you should run much lower.

You need to get your car to breath better because that’s where you are falling short. I would say headers (Long tube if you got the money) and your off road H-pipe would help a lot. I would do the cat-back last (you will see the no gains from this without the headers and H-pipe)

What rear end gear do you have? Did you say you already had a higher stall converter?
