Default electrical problem!!

Heres the deal...when i rev past around 4k, my battery light comes on and all the lights dim! ok mechanic gurus...lol how can i fix my problem?

Get your alt load tested. Could be bad brushes or something similar inside it going out.

sounds like an alternator or possibly a voltage regulator, either way get it tested. Autozone has a basic test for free by me.

thanks guys! ill bring it to autozone 2moro. alternator was my dads guess as well but it never hurts to hear what the stang masta's have to say lol

hes talking about how today when idling my cars rpms started bobbing down, kinda like it was gonna die, and then finally came back up, but this situation happened a few times...explanation for this?
