Default Filling up gas tank and want to add....

Well well, it’s about that time of the week when I need to fill up again... I was thinking about putting a fuel system cleaner in there today... or something along those lines just to clean out and crap, add about 1/2 a hp... and get a little better MPG... what would you guys recommend to use?
Thanks for any help!

I'm not a big fan of "off the shelf" sort of fuel cleaners. I would pay the $39 or what ever to have someone use injector cleaner and the machine that hooks directly up to your fuel rail..

the off the shelf stuff is only half of the fix. you need to have it hooked up to a drip. it connects right to your intake vacum lines. but id only do it if you really think it has to be done, otherwise some gumout off the shelf will defenitely work. enjoy!

Seafoam is the best. It goes in the intake through the vacuum lines, in the oil to remove sludge, and in the tank for injector and fuel system cleaning.

I've tried every product and seafoam is the best. Nothing like seeing huge clouds of smoke coming from the tail pipes if you do the vacuum induction. [8D]

Whatever you use nothing will work unless you give it a chance.By this I mean to figure on driving the car for a couple of hours to give the cleaner a chance to work.Mix the cleaner into about 1/4 tank of gas also, one can per tank full ain't goin' to do ****.
