The grille delete backorder from us is because of Ford taking their dear old time in getting stuff to us. We have the pony and the lip, but not the backing mounting piece.

Unfortunately, we're bound by our suppliers flows. Trust me though, we know that things are picking up. We can see the trend already and we are ordering as fast and as much as we can to keep things in stock.

If all goes back to the "how fast can you make a quality product" issue.

On the Mach I grille what is the "backing mounting piece" I just installed mine and didn't use one. I shortened the stock screws by 1/4" and cut 3/8" clear plastic tube pieces which I slipped over the bosses that insert through the bumper pad, Tightened screw, it compressed the tube like a spring, holding the lower shell tight against the bumper pad. I guess I'm just an improvising farm boy.

Check this place out , CJ pony parts www.emustang.com, there located in harrisburg PA, the place is badass and they have tons of stuff in stock its worth driving if ur close, complete mustang showroom/store/shop and a huge *** mustang junkyard in the back
