96 cobra information needed
I bought my firts mustang, but I dont have any information about this car, you know what kind of trans comes with this car, its a 1996 cobra. And what time make form 0 to 60

I am from Guatemala, Central America, I have a 96 cobra, with only 14,000 milles, and V8 Mustangs here are not very popular, just V6 and Hondas, I install a Procharger P1-SC, Ford Racing Headers, Detroit locker, BBK 62mm Thorttle Body, Off road H pipes, Car Back, Diablo ship which came with the Supercharger, Mils eliminator, and I want to have some more power, last week I run with a Corvett, and he pulled one car in front of me in about 4 blocks, I think its not bad at all. What do you recommend me.

T-45 5 speed, 0-60 is like 5.9 or so. My nearly stock 1/4 time in my 97 is 14 flat. Post up some pics of it.

Its a mystic cobra sight.. only difference is the paint really.

I looked it up. Cobra is 5.6, GT is 5.4.
The GT is quicker to 60 because of the torque. The 96-98 cobra's were only rated at 300lbs of torque.. the GT' were rated at 302.. and the torque curve for the cobra is kinda funky.. its a pretty flat line untill about 4000 rpms when it starts to jump. The GT's and Cobra's usualy run the exact same times at the 1/4.. 14 flats or so for the cobra's. The only thing is if you take it past 1/4 the cobra will just continue to walk away... The high end is where htose extra 40 ponies really come in handy.
The 4v is much more responsive to mods however. They dont take much to really wake up.
