AMEN!!! coulndnt have said it better myself

Who cares about mileage, its a Mustang...not a Civic. I get ****ty gas mileage and I don't care because I bought a MustangGT because its a v8 and I love Mustangs and its fun to drive. I drive around half throttling it alot and not shifting until 3-3.5k but I don't care about the gas. If I wanted good gas mileage I would have kept my civic. lol

Suping up a car you use as your livelyhood (job) isn't the smartest thing I have ever heard of. You can buy a crappy car to work out of for a $1000 and then right it off.

Well I know it isnt a good idea, but under my fathers roof, I must obey his rules. I can only have one car. I paid for the mustang myself and insurance and what not. I dont mind the mile racking up on it all that much because I make an obxious amount of money for what I do.

Thanks for the compliments. I try to wash the car once a week, with a waxing every other week. I also try every once in a while to completely overhaul the exterior with one of those three step car wash kits such as mothers. The car sounds nice at idle and through the RPM range. With the windows down, I love to have the tone of the exhaust coming into the passenger compartment. The car has a 148K miles on it btw.

I was more or less aiming at the fact you use your car for work, and if you brake something on it, it could put you out of commission and hurt your obnoxious paying job. j/k I hope you see my point, I am not flaming you, just hate to see the fun of modding car go away due to other circumstances.

O yea, I know that if I break something, it puts me out of commision, its has happened already with the PI intake blowing itself up, it also helps to have a father in a autobody with a quick connection to essential parts from an amazing Mercury/Ford dealership. Anyone in New Jersey needs a Ford or Merc, go to George Wall Lincoln Mercery. It has the absolute BEST customer service I have ever had.
