Default Hypertech Stage 3 tuner for '96 GT

I was just wondering if the hypertech stage 3 gives a shift firmess comparable to a shift kit? I might buy one, and if i do it will be just to have firm shifts and no speed limiter (i have pirelli P7000's, Z rated tires) and possibly bump the rev limiter and shift points up a couple hundred RPM's. I'd still like to run on 87 octane, so i would just use it for the above, not put in the power tune.

i have a hypertech tuner and the sift firmness works great. howerver, if you are going to a s/c or nitrous were you would have to adjust the timing you might want to look into another product. but if you plan on just doing bolt ons then it is a great product.
