that helps,i need to look under there again,,when i get my car out of the shop,i had to replace the eec ,sux bad .cost me 150 bucks, but anyway what gears would you recommend and what do the run..one more thing when i get up to about 70 or so and it shifts ,it kinda shakes a little kinda like i ran over them ridges on the side of the free way,any idea what that is?

i have the tornado in my car, i dont know why i bought it, but i did. absolutly no HP gains, wasnt really expecting any, but my gas milage is alittle better, i gan get about 20 more miles on a tank of gas.

thats cool,might not be for me .i have a probe to drive for all my gas saving needs ,lol,but what is the 4:10 gear supposed to do ,give me more take off speed,shift easier ,faster,what, im trying to soak all this in.i have a lot to learn

They make your car all around faster. Your take off will be much quicker because your RPM's will climb way faster. But on the freeway you might rev 500 rpms more. Dont listen to the **** on here about your gas mileage will b way less with 4:10, just get them and be happy. They make your car feel faster than most of the bolt ons can do

thanks for the advice,ive been looking in to them.im gonna get my saleen front end first..after that i will be planning on the gears,one thing at a time

Definitely get 4.10s gears. I just had them installed and they are absolutely awesome. I am still getting 90 miles on a quarter tank of gas with my 4.10s. I had 3.27s in before them and I used to get between 95-100 gallons on a quarter tank. Depending on the transmission, you can get a short throw shifter like the MGW or Steeda Tri-Ax or if you have an auto, you can get a shift kit, stall converter and trans cooler. You would have a decent 14.4-14.5 ride with that all done. You could do headers also, or a throttle body/plenum combo, alot of websites have a sale on them now.
