Default Autometer A-Pillar?

I just got my two pod full autometer A-Pillar. The directions say to put it over the original one and drill holes, is this correct? The only reason I bought the full one is because I thought it was a replacement. What did you guys do with yours?

Your old has the clips, so "yes", you put it over and drill holes, then use the platic plugs to attach the new to the old.

I got a two pod with a Boost and an Oil Pressure. When I get more money I will put more guauges in the steering colum, that is if I feel the need for more gauges. I will be installing it myself this weekend, shouldn't be to bad. I hope....

also we got the LS1s rear end in we just need to put the brakes in and we ran outta day light last time and it has gotten cold so if you wanna swing by his house we can help you put them in. He knows alot about that stuff and we could just take the cars for a spin after as well.

They really do make you think it is a replacment. Thats the reason I bought it instead of the little one. Ohh well. Thanks for the offer Dilo I might take you up on that. Whats your friend LS1 run at the track? Either way I'm sure we can drive around if its nice out. Something needs to get you back in the mustang mood. You have anything in works or what?
