Default 03-04 Cluth effort

I am looking to upgrade from my 99gt to a 03-04 cobra, but so far the two i have driven have had ultra stiff clutches Is this normal? I drive in a lot of stop and go traffic here in Southern California, would an aftermarket clutch have less pedal effort? Or should I just man up and deal with it?

Man up and deal with it, cobras have a stiff clutch because they have to handle that 400lbs of torque. I have a spec stage 2 in my GT and its stiffer than an 03/04 cobra clutch, but im already used to it. It takes a little while to get used to, then it starts to feel totally normal...then if you drive a car with a weak clutch you wont even be able to feel it and will have trouble driving it. LOL

Like the other day I drove my friends 94 probe gt, its got a stage 3 clutch in it but its hydraulic...so I literally could not feel the pedal at ALL and was having troubles with taking off, lol.

Just so I dont get flamed for having a hardcore clutch with low power....when I bought my car at 61k miles the stock clutch was feeling like it would slip sometimes if i shifted super fast or did a 1-2 burnout. So I needed to get a new one, but I plan to supercharge my car in the future and needed something that would handle the S/C torque I will be making down the road.
