Shifter

RE: Shifter
I went with the tri-ax because i dont trust the swivel looking design of the MGW. I have not used an MGW, I just can't make myself trust a design where the handle swivels around the shifter and I'm paranoid about the nut that keeps it tight loosening a bit and allowing it to swivel around during a shift. Thats just why i personally didnt get mgw.
I love my Tri-Ax though, you wont be disappointed with either one I'm sure.

RE: Shifter
The mgw isnt actually a nut. It uses two torx type bolts that go through to the other side. As you tighten them it pinches the shifters metal pieces together thus clamping it on to the other part. It's very strong and very stable. I havent had to readjust mine yet.
