its all how the pipe is set up, an H looks like an H (this is what you have stock)
and X looks like an X
the H pipe seems to b much more popular around this forum, but both are good choices
they both come in catted and offroad versions(uncatted)
check with local laws, but almost everywere it is illegal to have uncatted midpipes on your car

from what I understand X pipes give you more top end horsepower, and H pipes give you a bit more low end grunty torque.
the xs have a higher pitch rasp, and the Hs have a lower rumble. It all depends on what you want! Personally Hs sound excellent with flowmasters because they just add to the already low rumble
