I am beginning not to trust alot of what the magazines say in their articles. For some reason I think that professional products paid them to test their product in their magazine. Then the deck is stacked with testing on a heavily modified car so the results look appealing. When you stick that intake on a stock or nearly stock car you realize that you paid hundreds for 2 or 3 hp.

What do I know.

yeah its bs. you can do that with a plenum/TB. Thats what they tested the manifold with was there plenum and TB.

Ask Jewjenk about the PP parts. He has the TB/plenum combo and absolutely loves it. No problems so far and I can't think of a reason for him to lie about it.

As far as this manifold, with it being all aluminum, I'd worry about heat saturation a little, especially FI applications.

I have the PP throttle body/Plenum combo as well, NICE quality, nice machining, no problems whatsoever. But I agree on the manifold, it's gains seem questionable, the top end looks stock, and I don't think the shape of the manifold bottom end would enhance flow.

Here's a link to another intake.

http://www.hiperformancesolutions.com/index.html

I like the coolant mod that runs across the back of the manifold.

There's a manifold under development called the VRI it seems to be more of a tunable length runner intake than a true variable runner design.(like on the 4 valve engines)

Let's look at their track record, they have ripped off other people's designs, made castings so off that you will need to port the hell out of them, and another member on this board had the threads get pulled out of them torqueing the intake down to factory specs. Wait a little longer and something 100% better will come along

that's a load of bull. They never advertise it for a stock engine

When mustang and fast fords magazine tested that u gotta notice the small print.... they test it stock and then they go and put a throttlebody, plenum and the new intake they gain like 20 some horsepower. I know tahts not a accurate description but im not looking at the magazine right now.... but it doesnt seem like good gains at all when u consider that they added 3 new parts for the car and only got taht much horsepower. it doesnt seem like the manifold did much at all. if over 10 hp at all.... just my thoughts on the subject
