Speedo Gear ?

Hey i just installed a new T45 in my 98' GT and the speedo was off by a good 100MPH. so i pulled the speedo sensor and there was no gear on it like my previous trans ? it was digital? any idea what i should do ?

Tuner or speedo recalibrator.

what year did the t45 come off of? 98 gt's are all mechanical speedos..so there should be a little gear that goes in on the side of the tranny..find out because im interested..lol
