Default vacuum line issue

i went to run some seafoam through my car today, and had a hell of a time trying to get the vacuum line out (the one that runs into the TB). how hard should it be to get out?

i was mainly afraid of ruining the damn thing, as it seemed like the tube went in there pretty good. should i be worried about breaking anything?

check out the attached picture... that is the line i was talking about. i meant plenum, not throttle body, as i described before.

rather than taking the tube completely off of the plenum, there is plastic line that runs into it - i was trying to remove it from there. there was a great tutorial that i saw where the person had done that.

Twist the hose first (clockwise and counter-clockwise), you can even use a pliers if your carefull.

alright, finally got it... i wedged a flathead screwdriver head between the hose and the plastic rod while pulling each side... popped off after a bit.

was a bit disappointed with the results... didnt get much smoke at all. but i guess that is a good thing. 36k on an '01.

going to do another application in a couple days tho and finish off the bottle. im thinking maybe i didnt put enough in or let it sit long enough.
