Default Thinking about a Cobra

Ok, so I have a 2006 GT Vert but i gotta admit, i don't like it that much. I was thinking about throwing a S/C on it but i just love the Cobra's. So i am going to check some out tomorrow. My question is, how strong is the engine on the cobras? I plan to do some mods, alot and i wanted to know what the engine was good for in terms of HP and things like that? Can a stock Cobra engine handle NOS and other stuff? Does it have forged insides? Etc.

The 03/04 cobras are supercharged and have the forged internals from ford. Those motors are not bullet proof, but they can handle up to around 575-600 hp. You wont get there with the stock blower, unless you change it out for a KB or whipple. They are pretty badass for most people considering you can swap out the blower pulley and have it tuned and run 475 or so rwhp. I'd buy one in a heart beat.

Is there any way to produce more PSI with the stock blower then is already there, stock? Or anything i can buy pretty simple to produce more HP? My friend has a Mazda Speed Pro and he boosted his PSI.

Yes, a smaller blower pulley, a cai, and a tune and you can see some pretty good numbers from the cobra.

Id say more like 700rwhp.
