hey zw99 you got nitrous?? what do you have?? i was thinking about that but i heard that n20 is very stressful on the 4.6. have you had any problems??
Well buddy, sadly, i never got to it. I dont have my car anymore by the way.
I had a full bolt on GT.

There are ALOT of dumbass stories about how dangerous nitrous is. Its plain and simple. When used in moderation, it is harmless. Now you strap on a direct port 200shot on your stock internal GT and BOOM. no ****.

You can run 125 hp dry shot every day. Cars are just too smart these days. Dry shots are shot into the intake. The ECU senses that there is a crapload of oxygen and compensates by adding more fuel. Its pretty fool proof. As long as you have 1 everything set up right, and 2your car is in good working conditiont and most impartantly 3 you use your head, its A OK.

Not worth the gain??? A supercharger with a good tune can give you 40-80 or more percent HP and Tourqe gains on a 2v. If I had the cash right now I'd definately invest in a blower. Thats one of three ways to get serious a$$ out of a 2v 4.6 without putting serious cash into a rebuild or a new High-performance motor. The others being spray and turbo. definately consider a supercharger. or if you want the best bang for ur buck spray it but make sure you have a good tune and a professional who knows WTF they're doing to install it.

in that case, if thats waht supercharger does, that will prolly not happen, simply casue it doesnt sound like teh cost is worht the gain.
On another hand, i just noticed a 4.56 gear for sell at mustangtuning.com, would taht just rip my enigine up? lol.

unless you seriously race everyday or drag every weekend then you can get the 4.10s. but other than that get the 3.73 or the 3.90. it will let the transmission and the motor last a lot longer.
So getting those gears will hurt (maybe very little) the trans/motor?

How many miles is on your car? You run 4:10's combo'd with drag radials........Better put back some money for a new clutch and fly wheel if you you have over 70,000 miles on it. Cause....It WILL break. You can't just go out and throw 4:10's or 3.73's on a car, put drag radials on it. Run it 3x on a strip on sat night for 2 months without smokin the clutch. I would almost garuntee it. Better change out the clutch man. I suggest centerforce or RAM. Hope it helps. And not to be a smart *** either, but Howstuffworks will help you grasp ideas a lot more. Good luck bro. Keep us posted on what you decide.

I went with 3:73 because I'm in the military and move around the country alot. I think driving a couple thousand miles at high RPM's is bad. Went I get settle in at a new duty station I park my car and hardly drive anymore, then I wish I had 4:10's. So if you drive your car everyday I would go with 3:73, if not get 4:10's

i agree to an extent....
if you drive your car on the highway everyday (maybe to and from work or soemthing) then get 3.73s. but if you're not on the highway every single day... 4.10's will be great
