seeing as my car is near stock, I just went to autozone and ordered the OEM motorcraft plugs. Had the same part number as the specification (can't remember right now). It likes them just fine. I need a set of wires soon tho

I have always liked NGK for pretty much anything I ride/drive. Just my preference.

I just changed mine to TR55xi (iridium) and they are awesome. I feel the car lighter and it even changed the sound of the exhaust a little. I have not had them long enough yet to notice fuel economy changes yet.

Iridium plugs do not help N/A stangs at all. So some research.

Yes but they do last longer than a regular platinum plug. I went with NGK tr-55ixs but before that had motorcraft platinums. Both seem to work fine. Densos are good plugs but are too pricey for me. Only think I'd be hesitant about is Bosch.

Where do you guys buy the NGK TR55's at?. It looks like they are >5$ per plug at Lm Performance, thats 40+tax+shipping for spark plugs, is this reasonable or are they just a bit high on the price?.

Thanks,

E.
