Sometimes if you change one o2 sensor, the computer will start getting bad readings from your second one. It happened to me in my Ranger.

The OBD II code scanners are cheap now.

I have this one...

http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBr...EACM%7C%7Etrue

It works well with the mustang and I have used it on a few other vehicles as well.

ok guys, went too auto zone 2 get the car scan but nothing came to the screen, the guy told me if I had reset the computer (whic I did) thats why I got no readings. Got home took out the spark plugs and checked them, the 4 plugs on the passenger side had signs of... nothing!!! but the ones on the driver side is another story, 2 plugs had that white stuff, just lightly the 2 other ones had a little bit of black stuff. should i change the other sensor??????

DO NOT RANDOMLY THROW PARTS AT SICK VEHICLE. Don't waste money.

For now i suggest you change your plugs. Use a torque wrench and torque them properly, you don't want to blow a plug.

Second, reset the computer again. if the light comes on, there has to be a code in the memory. If nothing comes up again, i think you have 1 focked up ECM.

Good luck.
