yea I was talking to a guy at the party store I hang out at today (no we don't play hockey on the roof)... he drives a 350Z.. he invited me to Milan on sunday and he told me something that completely flew over my head... I only need the D/R's in the rear... and when winter comes I can still use the tires the mustang came with... lol I'm slow like that... But I think I will go with D/R's and so your saying Nitto NT-01's then?

Nitto drag radials defanitly man, and I'd also suggest vt stage 1 cams. Unless you plan on building the bottom end, stage 2's aren't really worth it.

LOL yea... I'm already hooked I think I'll be set with doing all this though... but I did read april of 2006 tire shootout... and they said it's between the Nitto NT-01 and the Falken Azenis RT-615 and then if you want the most bang for buck the Toyo T1R these all these tires were rated on a 5 star rating and this is what they got after the tests
Nitto NT-01
price= 4 stars (the more the more expensive)
Grip= 5 stars (the more the better)
Handling= 4 stars (more the better)

Falken Azenis RT-615
Price= 4 stars
Grip= 5 stars
Handling= 5 stars

Toyo T1R
Price= 1 star!!!!!
Grip= 4 stars
handling= 4 stars

Drag radials are the only way to go imo.

IMO for daily driver just get all season 245/45/17 that way you can rotate them. If you want to out on the street one night and have some fun with local ls1s then get a jack, jackstands, air gun and 2 17x10.5 rims with 315s and throw em on there before you go.
