Default clutch to tight

I have a 2002 GT 5 speed. The Clutch peddle is very hard to push, harder then I think it should be. Is there any adjustment on it to where I can make it easier to push. Thanks

ever had a mustang before?? Because once I drove my friends stang before I had mine I also thought it was really tough... But once I bought my own stang, and drove it a lot, I quickly got used to it and it does not feel heavy any longer.

Yep, they're not light. It may be an aftermarket clutch as well. You'll get used to it.

The clutch linkage on the side of the tranny often gets dried out, this makes the clutch hard to push. Sometimes they also squeek, makes you think your riding in a 86 chevy hehe... There is a cover on the left side of the transmission, you will see the linkage going into it from the front side, there is one small bolt holding the cover on. Once you get the cover off you can get to the linkage, I just sprayed WD40 on mine, no more squeeks, no more hard choppy clutch depression. If it does start squeeking to me it is very annoying, it seems to echo on the bell housing. Just jack your car up and try this, I promise you'll be glad you did
As far as just the strength of the clutch, I don't feel that they are harder to push than anything else, if you try this you might agree..
