LTs/Clutch
so if i decided to go with LT headers i would probably change my clutch when i did it cuz of the things i have heard about clearance issues. i would probably go with a spec stage 1 clutch. i know clutch wear depends on how hard you drive it...but my question was about how long a spec stage 1 clutch would last before id hafta replace it again.
im just trying to figure out how im going to spend the money i make over summer. cuz once i have it i dont wanna research it, i wanna be ready to do it. thanks for your help.

RE: LTs/Clutch
It all comes down to driving style and abuse... A clutch that could last 50k miles for one person, may only last 1500 miles for another.... Do you drive your car hard?? Do you do a lot of No Lift shifting??
And yes, clearance is quite tight, so a clutch job would be good preventative maintenance....

RE: LTs/Clutch
im usually pretty nice to my car. ill drive it hard when im the mood or when i/pther people on the road wanna have fun with me lol...but a majority of the time im pretty nice to it, shifting it nice and easy at less than 2500 rpms. whats no lift shifting? i dont think i do it lol. ive heard like regular stock clutches can last 70k miles or more...i was just wondering if the spec stage 1 lasts for...not as long lol.

I think you will be absolutly fine with a stage 1 clutch. If you are slightly worried about it, get a stage 2. Code was saying his wasn't to bad on pedal effort.
My stage 3 spec is pretty bad on pedal effort. Not real super bad, but pretty bad lol.
