Default Throttle Body / Plenum Install

I am finally getting around to installing my accufab TB and my custom plenum. Any hints or tips? Everything looks like it will just unscrew. Anything I should know about installing the throttle body? Should I put the TB and Plenum together before the install or should I put one in at a time? Any hints appreciated.

YES There is a peice on the front of the PLENUM that has two allen screws holding it on. BE VERY CAREFUL as ford puts loctite on there. I screwed mine up with the screw driver and the head of the screws had to be ground off. Its on the side of the plenum towards the front of the car!

The screws are holding the tps sensor and it should be adjusted to .9v closed throttle.
You may want to clean your iac with carb cleaner to clean out the carbon build up.
To me it was easier to slap the throttle and plenum together, then put it in.

Yea I'm having the same problem as nick. The TPS screws are in there tight with loctite. I don't want to ruin the screw heads. I guess the only way to do it is an impact wrench? Has anyone installed a TB without an impact wrench?

I've changed mine over the winter, probably the easiest modification so far I've done. Take it off the car as a unit and work on it in the house. Much easier

Yea everything is extremely simple except for getting those damn screws off. I was just stripping the screw when I was trying (it was off the car). Since this is my daily driver I put the stock TB back on for now. What I am going to do is take a Dremel tool and grind out a larger slot then take a large flat head screw driver and get it out. This should do the trick.
