Default Mach 1 Grill Delete 2pc vrs 3pc?

Whats the main difference between a 2pc and 3pc mach1 grill delete? Trying to find a reason to justify spending twice as much money for something that looks exactly the same...

Weird, if anyone has any pics of the third piece that would be great.

i think the 3 piece is the oem equipment on the mach 1? the 2 piece is an aftermarket kit, not oem. i think the 3 piece looks a lot cleaner from the ones i have seen.

Check out the install procedure at www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2004/07/Project01GT/ They show a pic of the 3 piece.

If you look at picture number 10 there, you'll see the middle has a square hole in it, while the stock gt one doesn't have that. I'm sure you could probably cut one into it though.

2 piece rocks ! less weight then the 3 piece ! haha you save an extra .00001 lbs.

2 piece is the bottom piece + pony

3 piece is the bottom piece + some piece that go behind that bottom piece and the pony.
