Default MPG improving upgrades?

Hey all,

Im wondering what mods there are that improve gas mileage?

There's a lot, exhaust will help it out as well as an air breather like a k&n filter or a cai.

anything that will help your car run more efficient (sp?) if your car is stock, get an intake and full exhaust (headers, midpipe, and catback)

change your rear end gears put like a 2.73 in unless you plan on racing it

Actually, youll get a little bit of a decrease in fuel efficiency if you go with a full exhaust...

If you want better gas mileage go with some underdrive pullies

If I'm not mistaken, a full exhaust will reduce gas mileage because of the headers...??? Not sure but I've heard that headers will hurt gas mileage. But a midpipe and catback will help.

ok. i'm about to order a MAC catted H and a set of LMI's. i got worried about the whole decrease in gas but as long as i'm not getting headers (which i wasn't planning on getting), then i'm ok on gas?
