Default CLeaned IAC but still having problems.

My mustang has been idling rough and i decided tp clean the IAC. Didnt help, if nething, looks like it made it worse cause now it will stall right after it starts. We had gotten the car back the daybefore from a collision center. Before we took it there, we had not run the mustang for about a month. I think the air filter might also been a problem cause i found out my dad hasnt replaced it at all. And yesterday, my dad washed out the engine and when he drove it from the body shop, he told me it was runing fine and im thinking that the water might of caused the problem. All fluid levels are were they should be. Ne thoughts to what could be the culprit.

the IAC could still be bad, cleaning it probably just let the real problem with it shine... the gunk was holding it together lol

your mass air flow sensor could be dirty/bad and yeah water could give it some guff....

what year is it and how many miles on it...

haha I have run into a lot of stupid problems and I'm only 19, I just want to help as much as humanly possible.

For those times when I randomly dont' respond, it's usually because, oddly enough, I'm at school, work or with my girlfriend

lol

Cleaning doesn't help. I don't recall anyone cleaning it and haven't any sort of success.

Wasn't there a sticky/post a few months ago that had a bunch of people claiming "screw buying a new one, I cleaned mine and now it's great?"
