when you get an off road x or h pipe you no longer have catalytic converters which will make your O2 sensors throw a check engine light... mil eliminators replace those and give the car a false signal that everything with the cats is correct....

They stop the computer from putting the car in "safety" mode.... The car will think something is wrong if you remove the cats because of the 4 O2 sensors... 2 before the cats, 2 after

no it shouldnt.... just if you get LT's and a catted x or h youd need extentions so the wires would reach... but no LT's and catted x or h nothing needed

if you have cats it won't trip the light. your best bet is not to do an o/r pipe unless you are going to tune it. the first thing your tuner should do is shut off the rear 02's.

no that's not correct. I have the Bassani 2 cat X pipe and had to put them on my two back O2's to get rid of the light.

anybody ever use the "spark plug non fouler" trick as an MIL eliminator ???

you buy a kit of 2 and drill out one with a half inch bit and screw it into the 02 bung, then the 02 sensor into it

pulls the 02 sensor out of the exhaust flow and lowers temp, causing it not to throw a CEL
