Heater core bi-pass and Sea Foam experience
Last night ran down to Auto Zone to buy a couple of parts to bi-pass the heater core on my 96 gt. While I was there i picked up a bottle of Sea Foam. After the rigging up the hoses and dumping in the pint pint of Sea Foam i took the car for a drive. First thing I notice is after about 5 miles the car began to run like shat. I hit the gas and the car would sputter and shake before it finally would move. WTF!!!! But after about five more miles it seemed to be back to normal. Is that normal when using injector cleaner? Next, the A.C. works great now. No more rank @$$ coolant smell.. Sweeett. However there is a high pitched wistle but it is very quiet yet very annoying. But i guess thats what i get for rigging my sh/t..

If there were any directions i didn't see them. I looked on the can and didn't see any. Oh well the car is running good now except for that d@mn wistle.[:@]

Whistles coming from the engine is usually a sign of a vacuum leak. The poor performance could have been the ECU relearning the tuning parameters. Now it runs properly but there still could be a leak.

I didn't seal off the the holes where the heater hoses went into the fire wall. Could that be causing the whistle? That is the only thing that i have that i have changed since it began.
