tuneable induction CAI
Well I finally finished installing the CAI last night at about 11, I started around 5. I'm still not to sure how I feel about the whole set up and it was a pain to install. It is the kit that mounts the filter down inside the fender. Luckily my car didnt have the smog pump system in their, but the filter still rubbed on the metal flange part of the front fender panel, so i had to bend that down so that the filter wouldnt get a hole in it right away. I think the car is a little louder now, but it was obnoxiously loud before so I dont notice a huge difference. I blew a donut right afterwards because I needed to let off some steam after messing with the intake all night.
rob, my cai was a pain too. I got the same system you did, tunable induction in fender filter. My problem was my strut tower brace. there was zero tolerance. But I love it. The downside is that the filter is in the fender, which is a pain to clean. But atleast you get a cooler air intake charge.
