car not starting....here we go again....
ok so i turn the key, the starter cranks, the engine begins to turn over and then dead silence. i try again, same thing exept the engine sputters, then dies. i have had ford replace my IAC, Fuel Filter, and one injector (tested all of them). does anyone have a clue? im sorta thinking its my fuel pump.

have you checked the Fuel cuttoff switch in the trunk? It's against the rear of car on the drivers side. Could be a Fuel pump or pressure regulator. Are you getting current to your coils?

yeah they checked that and it tested ok. the thing is, that after about 4-5 tries it starts and runs fine. when i had it in the dealership, the pump tested bad, but then he replaced that injector and it tested good. i think its still bad. whats the pressure regulator and where is it?

actually, I take the fuel pressure regulator comment back. It doesn't appear those cars have one. When you turn the key to the 'On' position but don't turn it all the way to start it, do you hear the fuel pump kick on every time? If not, that IS your problem (fuel pump). Or, Perhaps you have more than one injector that was bad??

perhaps, however more unlikely, the guy took the rails and covers off and watched for each one to drip. i will mention that tho when i take it in.

ummm..injectors don't 'drip' they spray. If he tested them he probably used either an oscillisope or fuel injector tester (more likely) the problem with the testers is that they are not very good at diagnosing malfunctioning injectors, they just tell you if it's dead or not (light bulb on or off, nothing inbetween)

im sorry i failed to mention that he was checking for drip while the car was off. my fuel rail was loosing pressure while off, which it shouldnt, and he found that one injector was dripping, causing the loss in pressure.
