Default idle sound

Hey all~
My car runs great, but sometimes on idle I hear this faint popping sound from the exhaust, like spitting. I put in new spark plugs and an air filter, wondering what else it could be. Compression is good too. I'm thinking it may be the spark plug wires, I'm at 110800 miles. I was thinking of getting a set of wires for it, and cleaning the IAC as well.

Anyone heard this type of sound let me know, or what should I do. thanks

my car does that because my exhaust is leaking.

everything under the hood is stock, i have flowmaster mufflers. probably the drop in backpressure is what did it. I put some injector cleaner / fuel treatment in today when i got gas, we'll see what it does

it's more of a burble, it's like a "rumble rumble rumble pt rumble rumble rumble" and the rumble is the normal exhaust note. It's an occasional faint pop, i'll see how the fuel cleaner does
