Default AT rear end Gears? question.

i have an AT in my car, which version is it in the gear calculator? is it the normal band or wide band.

at 20 mph in 1st gear, i was at 2,550 RPM thereabouts.

reason being, im trying to figure out if the previous owner had ford install gears. thanks

gear calculator according to this i dunno what transmission you have but with 4.10 gears the 4r70w std 2.40 transmission would be around 2600rpms... the other one 4r70w wide 2.84 is over 3k rpms with 4.10's and 2400rpms with stock 3.27 gears.... sooooooo either you have the std with 4.10 or wide with 3.27 hahaha

just put a piece of tape on the drive shaft and have someone idle forward exactly one roll of the tires.. count the rotations..... that'll tell you what gears are in it the easy way.
