Yes. Catted is legal for emissions. O/R is considered illegal because it does not pass emission laws. But YES, it sounds better!

I know o/r is illegal for emissions purposes, but you say it sounds better. Deeper tone? Any worry about rattling?

I don't really know if it sounds different but I WAS TRYING TO KEEP THE NOISE DOWN. Makes me feel better knowing that if they look under my car I at least have cats though. Like I said they don't seem to rob any power. It would be interesting to see dyno results but I wouldn't change my exaust now for anything because it's exactly what I want sound wise and I still have the power I want.

BBK is crappy in my opinion
Do you like MAC better. I have never heard bad things about BBK, except for that annoying rattle from the o/r x-pipe.

Mac seems to be extremely well cunstructed but they are thick and heavey. My Steeda stainless Cat-back feels so light compared to the Mac stuff.

i'm actually not sure what brand mods i have on this car b/c i didn't do any of it. any way of finding out what mods and brand i have? i just recently found out that i had an aftermarket throttle body lol
