Default X-cal 2 and 4.10 help!!!

I'm ordering my X-cal 2 with the 4.10 gear package and I have all of the mods you see below with the cats off of the stock H pipe.... so heres my problem I have no idea what to expect from the tuner and I need someone to baby step a noob through it... what shift points, what firmness, timing, mixture so not to lean or too rich, setting, and the other things you can do with this device that I have no idea what I'm doing with.. P.S. I will be running the 4.10's also

Aren't you supposed to get a performence tune with it from whatever dealer you get it from? I know the place where I got mine gives a performence tune with the units they sell. I have the X-Cal2 but I got mine with a dyno tune.

Xcal2 - call this guy Doug at Sutton. They are extremely knowlegable and will give you a tune with it. This is where I get my tuning done. They have an 05 that runs mid 9's and really know there stuff. Their website sucks but they can tune. Tell them what you have and they will set you up.

Oh and by the way you can't tell from their site but they are a large Ford dealership with a HP department that races weekly like Anderson For Motorsport. They are no little garage.

The Xcal2 is better. The Preditor tuner comes with the Diablo tune that aint worth ****. I'm not totally sure but when you buy the Xcal2 you should buy it from a SCT dealer/tuner so they can load your tune in before the send it to you. I'm pretty sure it's included in the price. Like I said when I bought my Xcal2 I got a dyno tune at the same time. I also have a Preditor and though they are also nice if you buy the Xcal2 call and talk to someone like Doug from Sutton so you can have them load the proper tune into the unit before they send it to you. It will make more power than the Diablo tune I know.
Talk to Doug - http://www.suttonhp.com/
You can also find a SCT dealer/tuner in your area and get a custom dyno tune that would be even better. Nothing beats a dyno tune period.

Looks like a good price. I think RPM Outlet sells the Xcal2 with an included tune in there units but I would call to be sure. See if they will give you the same deal with an Xcal2. The Preditor is still a nice unit though. If you use the Diablo tune just advance the timing as much as it will let you for the most power.
I have an article on advancing the timing with the Preditor. Here
