Full bolt ons plus a stage 5 ported eaton is making around 510 to 530rwhp. Slap a Whipple or a KB and it will be over 650rwhp with racing fuel or the new twin turbo set up makes around 800rwhp you have to rebuild the motor for that. Hope that helps you out

Are there any downsides to porting the stock supercharger? What is the average price to do so.

ORIGINAL: Dan04COBRA
If you send back your core, it's about $500 for a ported Eaton unit, from places I've seen..

sorry I have not been around. Yes what I hear, that with there new stage 4 port guys are dynoing around 510 to 525rwhp with full bolt ons. Most of all the 03 & 04 cobras that are doing the mods are all around 500rwhp, if they wont more they get the Whipple or the KB and they make around 600rwhp at 18psi. Hope that helps you out

Man I want one of those. I rode in a 500 HP built mustang GT the other day, and man you have NO idea how 500 HP feels. It scared the **** outta me. It was a built 4.6 with an s trim, cams/heads and so on. BUT, he spent over $6K on just the motor. Not including the blower that he already had. Now, just think that you can get a whipple for your newer cobra for like$2500. Then you can sell your eaton. An inexpensive tune and blower pulley later and you are at like 600 ponies!! I Want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
