that's just wrong, I have had mine in for like 6 years, I think it was my first mod and never had a problem. Get them and don't worry.

I do believe that myth started from some of the older 5.0's that expereinced charging system problems when using UDP's. I also think it had more to do with Ford's alternators than the UDP's.

Can any of the 5.0 guys confirm this?

with my zx2 it affected my ac, but it was a 4 banger. with my friends sho, he has no problems at all. i think it just happens on small engines.
