Default springs w/ LCA's + UCA's

why is it better to have a harder rate spring over a softer rate?

If your changing to adjustable shocks + LCA's + UCA's does it really matter if the springs soft or hard?

does the difference in spring rate really make the much of a difference?

A stiffer spring rate just keeps the cars weight in balance, but rides, well stiffer. There are different types of springs, Eibach sells drag springs which are softer in the front and stiffer in the rear, this way when a car launches it will propel the weight to the rear tires for better traction.

Wouldn't you need softer springs in the rear to make the car squat?

I could be wrong about the exact way it works, I just know the general concept is the weight transfers to the rear with Drag springs. And sport springs are intended to keep the weight balance evenly distributed, which usually means a stiffer spring all the way around.

softer springs in the rear will absorb power that is why you want stiffer in the rear

Yeah I think thats because it keeps the tires planted in the rear.

It's the reason top fuel cars have no suspension

so stiffer up front does? and its worst?

stiffer in the rear = better?

would SPRINGS really matter, arent they just more so for body height? i mean if you have other good suspension components like shocks and control arms. will it really make your stang lack at its launch..
