I'm pretty much new to mustangs and engine swaping, but can a 99-04 v8 mustang engine be mounted on a 96 v8 model?

any website on mustang engine swap?

do a seach...you will probably find alot on here...but yes, the motor will fit

 

THE MOTOR WILL FIT THAT YEAR,U MAY HAVE TO GET ANOTHER COMPUTER OF THAT YEAR OF MOTOR U ARE SWAPPING OUT. JUST ON MY STANG WHICH IS A 96 MUSTANG GT, WHAT I WAS PLANNIG ON DOING IS TAKIENG MY MOTOR OUT AND PUTTING IN A 5.4 MOTOR IN IT. THE GUY THAT IS DOING SAID THAT I WOULD HAVE TO GET A DIFFERENT COMPUTTER THAT IS OFF OF 5.4 CAR. HE DID SAY THAT EVERY THING ELSE WILL BOLT ON.. I WILL HAVE TO TALK TO HIM AND SEE IF THERE IS ANY THING ELSE THAT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED AS WELL.. I WILL GET BACK TO SOON..

do you know if the same goes for the transmission, if it'll fit too?

 

yes the motor and tranny will bolt in, assuming you dont use a 6 speed

 

does nebody here know the price for a 2003 gt engine?

thats horrible...you can get a used setup for 1500
